Time to think Super Bowl?

Well Broncos fans, is it time to realistically think about the Super Bowl? When word came about Peyton Manning coming to Denver, that’s the thought that crossed the minds of all Broncos fans, but it might have been more of a pipe-dream at the very beginning. Heading into week 16, the Broncos are 11-3 and a realistic shot to make, and win the Super Bowl.
You heard me correctly, Broncos fans. This is no longer a pipe-dream. The Peyton Manning led Denver Broncos have a realistic chance to go to New Orleans.

After Week 5, the Broncos were 2-3 and about to face a 3-2 Chargers team that could take a stranglehold on the AFC West with a win at home against Denver. Down 24-0 at halftime in San Diego, it looked as if the Broncos were about to severely falter in their first season with Peyton Manning under center. But as soon as the Broncos came out of the locker room for the second half of that game, they were a different team and outscored the Chargers 35-0 in the last two quarters to pull off one of the largest comebacks in NFL history.

That win was on October 15th, and they haven’t lost a game since. On a 9 game winning streak now since that game in San Diego, the Broncos look to win the 2nd seed and a first round playoff bye. That seemed out of reach until the Patriots lost to the 49ers last week and handed the Broncos the opportunity to control their own destiny. With that, it looks like the Patriots would have to come to Mile High in the playoffs, instead of the Broncos going to Foxborough where it’s very difficult to win. That is HUGE. Having to go to Foxborough to face the Pats in the playoffs seemed to be the one thing that could get in the way of the Broncos and New Orleans. With that obstacle seeming to be out of the way, the chances that the Broncos win the Super Bowl are looking pretty dang good.

Get excited Broncos fans. Our dream has become a reality.
