The regular season is over! The Nuggets defeated the Suns 118-98 in the final regular season game and now head to the 2013 NBA Playoffs as the No. 3 seed in the West!
On Wednesday at home against the lowly Suns, all five Denver starters finished in double figures in the 118-98 victory, along with Mozgov and Randolph finishing with a double-double off the bench.
Now the real fun begins as the postseason looms over the city of Denver. Will the Nuggets be headed for another first-round exit, which would be the 7th time in the last 8 years? Or will the Nuggets finally break that barrier and get to the second round, something they haven’t done since 2009 when they went to the Western Conference Finals in 2009?
Only time will tell, as the Nuggets will face either Houston or Golden State in the first round. I know that many are scared of Stephen Curry, but I would much rather face the Warriors instead of Houston if you asked me.
It’s time to dig in, playoff style here in the Mile High City!
