According to Danilo Gallinari himself via a video in Italian on his Facebook page, his ACL in his left knee that he supposedly tore back on April 4th against the Dallas Mavericks, is not so torn.

Around 3 PM Eastern time on Friday, Gallo posted a minute and a half video in Italian that apparently gave an update on his recovery on what everyone thought was a torn ACL.
But according to the translation via @SportandoBasket on Twitter which can be found here, says that Gallo stated that his ACL was not “broken” and he might return earlier than expected.
Via the translation, Gallo said “I will give you a positive news: My ACL is not broken. It was neither repaired nor reconstructed. I had a a unique recovery after my first surgery. My ACL responded very well. I had a procedure called “healing response”. My plans and my recovery timetable change totally but I will inform you about that later.”
Nothing has been confirmed with the translation but if true, extremely good news for the Nuggets. This comes on the same day of George Karl’s ripping into Josh Kroenke following his dismissal as the Nuggets coach, and with the news that Andre Iguodala will opt-out of the final year of his contract and become a free agent.
More to come on this Gallo news.
