Nate-Rob A Good Fit?

nate robinsonWould Nate Robinson be a good fit for the Brian Shaw and the Denver Nuggets?

As a fan, I would sure hope so. With Corey Brewer gone, Nate-Rob would fill the shoes with his fiery play and energy off the bench that Brewer brought to Denver. But is he a good fit?

With the addition of Randy Foye via sign-and-trade, Erick Green via the draft, and with Ty, Andre, and Fournier already on the roster, the addition of Robinson would make it shoulder-to-shoulder in an already crowded Nuggets back-court.

But with an impressive 2012-13 campaign off the bench scoring 13.1 ppg, I say make room for Nate. Andre Miller will be a free agent and could jet out of Denver in 2014 after a possibly disappointing season, and with Robinson at age 29 I say you trade Miller away to get Robinson a roster spot for Brian Shaw’s rookie year as Nuggets head coach.

But it’s not guaranteed that the Nuggets could find a suitor for Andre, not to mention that Robinson can be a starter in this league, and he might not be too ecstatic to be a reserve on another roster. But if Nate would consider playing behind Ty in Denver, I say get him here.
